If you were not a fashion designer, you would be…?
A singer.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of being a fashion designer in Portugal?
The same as in any other profession; It has some good and some bad points, as everything does.
Who would you love to dress? Julianne MooreWhat’s your craziest outfit ever?A jersey body (my favourite material) that made everyone think that the model was naked on the catwalk.

What do you think about the total black look?
Total black is a classic.

Which are your must-haves for this season?
All the aesthetic changes, which happened in shoes, especially women shoes, make it a must-have; purses XXL; lace; trench coats.

What do you feel about showing the clothes you’ve created for Canon’s Project “We Speak Image” in the Fashion Weeks of London, Paris, Milan and Lisbon?
I feel happy; whenever a big company sponsors you (as Nike also does) and asks you to create, you feel like working and make your bounds stronger.

This year your clothes are being industrially produced. What are the advantages and disadvantages of that?
This allows me to reach my main goal, which is another kind of commerce. I would like to produce clothes on a big scale, because it makes the clothes cheaper.The fact that I’m making clothes in very small quantities makes it more expensive and I would like to change that.

// Diesel’s “Fuel for Life”

// September, 7th/ Largo CamõesDiesel released its new perfum (available for men and women) “Fuel for Life”, in a public happening (we were there, off course) in Largo Camões, and invited everyone to join the party.

The atmosphere downtown, near Bairro Alto, was an analogy to the perfume concept: full of energy, happy, to live in the red line. The Dj, in his vintage booth, gave music to the hundreds of people who were there, dancing in the streets, in that hot hot night.
Among the anonymous, we found the fashion designer Dino Alves, and the PR Agency Show Press director, Luís Pereira, and even took some photos with them.This kind of stuff is the fuel for our lives.

// ABSOLUT for fashion animals

You ought to check out the new Absolut Vodka limited edition!
After working with Jean-Paul Gaultier and Andy Warhol, Absolut asked Italian fashion designer Ennio Capasa (C’N’C’ director) to create this bottle, made of black vinyl, with Catwoman playing electric guitar. Inspired by this character (described as being “anthropomorphic, disobedient and sophisticated), this limited (black) edition is another proof of Absolut’s creativity. “Black is, definitely, back, this time like Jeannie in the bottle.”

For the fall and the winter, the starting point is glamour! 40’s waists glamour, classic colours’, white skins, skirt and suit…
The waists ask for large and structured belts for a strong and sexy look; dress a skinny skirt or a winter coat…whatever you feel like… as long as you use belts, you are all right.Mini skirts are gone (sorry dear Mary Quant), and you can as well pack the long ones. Go for mini dresses or opt for the midi length (in skirts or trousers); with this clothes avoid using short heels shoes; go for highs: high heels platforms (super!), stilettos, ankle boots… it’s up to you as long as you pass the 5cm. barrier.
Besides leather (which appears creatively worked this season) and vinyl, knits are another must-have; Use oversized knits (whether a cardigan or a jumper), play with volumes and contrasts (another winter highlight), with disproportion…The pure colours are hot! Use them alone or combined with black, which is the favourite colour of fashion; for this season, use black in his different textures and combine it as you like the most!.. You’re free to do that.

To carry your cell phone, keys (and everything people usually carry in their bags), XXL bags arrived for good. You must have one because, besides being trendy, they are very practical. If you prefer another style, you can go for a leather clutch, which is always nice. Just don’t forget to combine the colours of your bag and your clothes.

The essential, the one thing you must always have in mind: leggings, lots of leggings, just leggings! Since they are long (because the short ones are sooo out!), you can choose lots of different materials and colours (but we have to tell you: don’t forget black is, always, black!)
