Since the 30th September, Paris is a non stop fashion party.
Alexander Mcqueen made a brilliant show, kind of a best-of of his career as a fashion designer (going through the tight wastes and the kimonos), homage to his mentor, the late Isabella Blow.
Anne Demeulemeester proposal was a 30’s look (kind of masculine-feminine style), elongated vests and pants and monochromatic looks, also present in the Viktor & Rolf's fashion show.
Maison Martin Margiela presented an underground beige and black look, with soft silhouettes and Sonia Rykiel closed her fashion show with Mick Jagger’s “Paint in Black”; by the time of her fashion show finale, the models were dancing around surrounded by a cloud of feathers, with Peggy Guggenheim sunglasses in their faces and soft spring dresses in their bodies.
